This fine white porcelain plate features “Bernard the Bear.” In the Winter of 2001-2002, a muddy Teddy Bear from the Windows on the World gift shop was found in the rubble. Ground Zero Photographer Gary Suson nicknamed him “Bernard” and the little mascot was propped up where recovery crews would dig for the missing. Bernard the Bear become a little angel to watch over the men in the harsh Winter months and is now brought to you on this beautiful porcelain collector’s plate.
