The Ground Zero Cross WTC Gift Collection
The World Trade Center Cross comes to life in this exclusive collection available only
here, on our online store. From 3-Dimensional acrylic cubes to woven throws, posters,
custom wrapped canvas, keychains, porcelain collector plates and more - this is the
finest collection of WTC Cross merchandise available which pays homage to a miraculous find at
Ground Zero. The “Ground Zero Cross” was two giant steel i-Beams that broke off in
the shape of a cross from the 67th Floor of the World Trade Center on the morning
of 9/11 and landed in an upright position in the rubble. The i-beams were found on
Day 3 after the attacks by a construction worker and became a symbol of hope for many.
Sunday prayer services were held each week for 9/11 Recovery workers under the cross,
which now has a home in the National September 11 Memorial Museum. This image,
photographed by Official Ground Zero Photographer Gary Marlon Suson, shows the
cross in it’s earlier days before rust and time covered up the names of the fallen,
which were scrawled into the steel. A full year of creativity and work was put into forming this
unique and tasteful collection of merchandise; we hope you appreciate the collection
as much as we did putting it together.
